This sensational damper recipe has been kindly contributed to the Eacham Times just in time for Australia Day.
Celebrate Australia Day with the best damper you have ever tasted in the whole of your entire life!
‘Whack up’ one when your mates come around to say g’day!
It will only take a few minutes and there will be plenty for everyone to enjoy!
Serve hot with lashings of butter and golden syrup and you will become an instant legend!
For a more exquisite take on a serving suggestion, feel free to serve with a selection of your favourite local jams and marmalades and large dollops of Dairy Farmers or Mungalli Creek cream.
- 4 cups Self Raising flour
- 300mls Carnation Lite Cooking Cream (or 300mls cream – thin)
- 300mls water
- Mix all ingredients together and bake in a hot oven at 200 degrees Celsius until cooked and beautifully golden brown.
- If using Carnation Lite Cooking Cream, tip cream into mixing bowl and then fill Carnation Cream container with water and add – it’s so easy!
