(L – R) Co-captain Graham Murray congratulates today’s winner Michael Reynolds.
Although the numbers were down a little from last week, it was still a great turnout for the March Monthly Medal.
It was sponsored by Mungalli Creek Dairy, Malanda RSL and the Millaa Millaa Hotel and again I remind everyone that patronage of these is greatly appreciated.
Today there were four players with a net score of less then par so stop complaining about the new handicaps and go for it!
The winner out of these four with an impressive sixty five was Michael Reynolds. It’s great to see you playing so well, especially as there was an O. B. in that score.
In second place, with a net sixty seven, was Wayne Crowley. Our friendly handicaper won’t save you mate, remember the computer at G. A. is unbribable.
It came to a countback for third with Paul Foster pipping The Silver Fox by one stroke over the final nine, which is also a good effort as Paul incurred a penalty for playing the incorrect ball on the seventeenth.
Nearest to the Pins this week went to Michael Reynolds on 1/10, Dylan Williams for a great shot on 5/14 and Paul Foster won the second shot on 8/17. Well done guys!
The Members Draw didn’t go off again this week and Richard Sullivan will be annoyed at injuring a finger as it was his number that came out. The daily draw went to Trevor Warrener and Bruce Hunter who always buys tickets in the club’s name, so thanks Bruce.
Next week is J & Y Reynolds Trophy Day which is a 4 BBB vrs par with a draw for partners, 9 for 9.30 am everyone, see ya there!
