If you’re quarantined or self-isolated, support is available from the Queensland Government’s Community Recovery Hotline.
The hotline provides help to vulnerable people in our community who are in quarantine and have no support mechanisms.
‘Most of us are reasonably self-reliant and can make our own arrangements, but some of us may need help with food and medications,’ said Local Disaster Management Group chair Mayor Joe Paronella.
‘People who are quarantined on advice of a medical professional or government direction, can dial 1800 173 349 if they need assistance.
‘Queensland Government staff are working with partner organisations and can arrange the non-contact delivery of necessities to people in quarantine who have no other means of support.
‘The hotline can also be used for social and emotional support by people who have chosen to self-isolate.
‘If you require health advice or information call 13 HEALTH (13 43 25 84) or visit Queensland Health,’ he said.
